Liv Lombardi is a Nashville-based mix engineer, producer, singer, songwriter and storyteller. A committed advocate for the amplification of LGBTQIA+ voices, Liv launched the podcast “My Gay Playlist” in 2020. The show centers on creating spaces for dialogue about the role that music plays in the construction of both personal identity and community. Liv has brought this same commitment to the sphere of audio production and engineering, working as a freelance mix engineer for a growing number of indie songwriters.

After more than a decade of performing and producing their own work, Liv pivoted to audio engineering. Their drive toward freedom of expression brought Liv to realize that crucial components of collaboration and creation were missing in their experiences in the traditional recording studio setting. In Liv’s daily studio practice, they strive to create safe spaces for women, gender non-confirming and LGBTQ artists by listening critically to the greatest need at hand, authenticity. They aim to make the music industry a more equitable and equal place for all.
